TIMELOG
THE HISTORY OF THE OBULON UNIVERSE The timelog provides an exelent overview of the timeline of the Obulon universe and insight in major historical events. What is known is that all the species of the Obulon galaxy has been brought there by an alien technology. Myths and legend tells different tales of these supreme alien beings. Some refer to them as gods, while others simply think of them as a long forgotten super evolved species. Whatever the source of technology, this seem to have been adopted an evolved into all sentient deep space travel.
GALACTIC TIMELINE
The galactic timeline is based on the locale time and space of the planet Elpis Prime.
One year has 8 months with 45 days in each. A year has 360 days.
The time description is as follows (YEAR.MONTH.DAY) – ex 1039.8.45 = Year 1039, month 8, day 45.
BE = Before the destruction of Elpis Prime
AE = After the destruction of Elpis Prime
2162 BE:
The interstellar/planetary Gazari nuclear conflict comes to an end.
2044 BE:
Humans discover a terrestrial planet in the Obulon galaxy. Colonization of Elpis Prime.
2020 BE:
Humans begin to explore and colonize nearby systems.
1813 BE:
First contact between Humans and the Gazari species.
1812 BE:
Open conflict between Humans and Gazari.
1764 BE:
The first galactic society is formed (The Galactic Federation).
1241 BE:
First successful terraforming of a non-habitable planet.
11 BE:
First wholesale galactic war.
0 BE:
The last remnants of the Federation crumbles.
The war and the human purge ends with the destruction of the human home worlds Pertera and Elpis Prime.
1 AE:
The Jai Raa enters the galactic society.
The Gelion Order is established on the spared human colony Gelion VI. This is now declared the new human home world and a treaty of neutrality is enacted.
511 AE:
The founding of the Galactic Union on Zonakam. The three species, Gazari, Human and Jai raa creates the constitution of the common galactic union. However both the Human home world Gelion VI and the Jai raa colony remains neutral and refuse to be included in union space.
